I need to steal the spotlight for just a quick second.The “-ber” months are hands down my absolute favorite time of year! I get to see so much family and friends, and the pups finally start getting those longer, fluffier haircuts (which, let’s be honest, are my favorite to groom!).However, as November approaches, I’ve made a big decision: I am breaking my annual tradition of turning myself into a holiday stress ball.In years past, I’ve crammed my schedule so tight that I practically lived on espresso and dog hair. Not this year! To make sure I’m giving my family and your pets the best version of me, I’m taking a quick vacation to reset first. After that, I’m sticking to a reasonable number of appointments so we can all actually enjoy the season. I love my family and this time of year way too much to spend it completely burnt out!So, this is my official love letter to all of you:I love you all to pieces, but for the love of furry faces everywhere… PLEASE PRE-BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENTS NOW!I am beyond honored that everyone wants ME to groom their dogs, but alas, I am only one human with two hands. 13+ years of dog hair weaved into my clothes ,pulling hair out of my mouth, and bath time splash zones... and I wouldn't trade a single second of it. 🐾At 31, running my own grooming business is a dream I get to live out loud every day. I get creative freedom, incredible flexibility, and the ability to provide for my family and my own pets doing something I genuinely thrive in.One of my favorite things about this job is that "competition" barely exists here,we have a community of groomers who act like true allies. We share tips, techniques, and cheer each other on so the whole industry grows together. And the friends I’ve made just off the shared connection of "we both love animals"?
